The Scion tC car is very popular amongst tuners these days. One of the first things that tuners want to do is get more power and there is no shortage of ways to do that using one of the available Scion tC turbo kits. These turbo kits are bolt on solutions for the lacking power of the stock four cylinder engine of the Scion tC. many of the kits include all of the components you need to get up to speed and become more competitive at the track, on the dyno, or on the streets.

There is no faster way to improve the performance of your Scion tC than by adding a turbo kit. The different sizes and complexities of these turbo kits let Scion tC owners pick the kits that are best suited for their tastes, budgets, and power goals. While some kits are complete solutions, other turbo kits come as tuner kits in which case you usually need to supply some of your own components such as fuel system and engine management amongst other things.

The nature and size of te Scion tC's inline 4 cylinder engine drives all of the turbo kits to be single turbo. You will not find a twin turbo kit for your Scion since it is not practical or necessary.

The T.E.A. upgrade stands for Top End Assassin.

The T.E.A. turbo kit is spec'd to provide power from 3500 RPMS and up through redline on the Scion tC Engine. We also include a Turbonetics heatshield to keep the heat inside the turbine and help some on spool up time. Also, a new, Top Secret EMS is included with an upgraded fuel system, plug-n-play harness and wideband input for ease of target tuning and data logging.

This turbo kit setup is designed as a bolt-on solution, but needs fuel and engine management upgrades to run safely on your Scion tC. GReddy E-Manage maps are available upon request which is designed for running 440cc injectors at 8.5psi of boost. Power output with that setup would yield approximately a 100hp inccrease over stock. The Scion tC's stock engine is at 158hp, and with this GReddy turbo kit it yields approximately 257hp. Dyno tuning is recommended and required to run this kit as its maximum performance safely.

Cutting of stock tC's bumper support is needed to fit intercooler, minor trimming of front bumper panel is needed to clear intercooler piping.

The kit will come pre set with the a base 7psi tune installed. We recomend not exceeding the 9psi level with out race gass, or without the experience of a certified tuner. The turbocharger given in this kit has the ability to generate up to 340 HP at the wheels on your TC with race gass. The Stage 0 turbo kit is the perfect system for the Scion tC owner looking for more power without affecting the reliability of their new tC. The Stage 0 is is the most popular kit offered by Zero Point, with very impressive pricing and all of the guess work removed. This turbo kit can be installed by yourself over the course of a weekend. With the turbo system being engineered for simple installation by the end user, it allows you to save money on install rates and apply that to upgrades and other enhancements to make your Scion tC more enjoyable.

This turbo kit will work the automatic transmission. We highly suggest adding the ZPI Valve Body upgrade, as well as an aftermarket automatic transmission cooler.

We also recommend the use of boost, egt, and wideband o2 gauges for monitoring the engine vitals. Check out other engine gauges.

We also recommend the use of a boost gauge, EGT gauge and wideband with this kit.

There is a $300.00 jumper harness upgrade that can be added to eliminate splicing of the factory harness.

NOTE: The intercooler pipes have been redesigned to work without any trimming of the factory bumper. At this time the bumper beam does have to be replaced due to the large size of the intercooler.
