Each year, Scion has updated certain components of the tC making each year model unique in some way. Small changes and upgrades such as different navigation and stereo systems make make a huge difference when it comes to buying a second hand Scion tC.
The Scion tC is the only model not available in Japan. This is rather unusual for a Japanese automaker to not offer one of its most popular cars to the JDM market. However, the Scion line in Japan caries different but similar naming conventions.
